Flexfit size chart

Flexfit caps use a spandex band woven into the sweatband, so each size covers a range of four to five fitted sizes. The two core sizes are S/M and L/XL; the 6277 also comes in XXL and Youth. The 110 is a one-size snapback that fits about 6 ½ to 7 ⅞.

S/M or L/XL?

S/M (54 to 58 cm) and L/XL (57 to 61 cm) overlap at 57 to 58 cm (fitted 7 ⅛ to 7 ¼). If you measure in that overlap, S/M will feel snug and L/XL relaxed, so pick the fit you prefer. If you measure 54 cm or less, S/M is the only choice and it may still feel roomy.

Flexfit youth

Flexfit Youth (style 6277Y) fits 52 to 56 cm (6 ½ to 7), which suits most children from about age 5 to 12.

Fit tips

  • Flexfit bands relax slightly after a few wears. If you sit between sizes, take the smaller one.
  • The 110 style has a snapback closure with a Flexfit band and is more forgiving than the fully fitted 6277.

How to measure your head

  1. 1 Use a soft tape measure, or a string and a ruler.
  2. 2 Wrap it around your head where the hat will sit: about 1 cm (⅜ in) above your ears and across the middle of your forehead.
  3. 3 Keep the tape level and snug, not tight. Do not pull it in.
  4. 4 Read the number where the tape overlaps. Measure two or three times and use the largest value.
  5. 5 Type the number into the calculator, or find it in the chart.

What size is Flexfit L/XL?

57 to 61 cm (22 ½ to 24 in), fitted sizes 7 ⅛ to 7 ⅝.

What is Flexfit XXL?

59 to 64 cm (23 ¼ to 25 ¼ in), fitted sizes 7 ⅜ to 8. It is only available in some styles.

Do Flexfit hats stretch out?

A little in the first week, then they hold. They do not stretch a full size.
